Well this week Ren and Stimpy moved to their new homes. We had taken Ren and Stimpy from a woman who's boy hammie had babies. The are dwarfs. We tried taming them but they were crazy biters, and we never really bonded with them.
So with the kitten moving in(Monday) we deicided to re-home Ren and Stimpy where they would get more attention. My sister had been begging me for a hamster since we bought the babies home. We gave her Stimpy Wednesday at 6. She called tonight to tell me Stimpy crwals onto her hand and gives her kisses! I was in shock!
Ren moved in with my cousin April tonight. He is the wilder of the 2 and I hope my cousin can tame him. However she won't give up so I am sure she will suffer the nipping and over all tame him eventually.
I typed up precise instructions personalized to each hammie. We decided we'd only give them to family so we could visit them and make sure they were doing okay. My sister is hoping to gain some $$$$ for her report card to pimp out Stimpy's crib.
Snugger and Stunner are being relocated to the bedroom to be kitty safe!
I think you've made a great decision in rehoming them and it's obvious you chose responsible new owners!! I think they will do great in their homes and KUDOS to you for giving them up rather than letting them suffer with less attention. Lots of people are too selfish to do that.
