I'm considering getting one of these for my rats but wanted to see if any of you had tried them. If you have, what do you think?

i would get it in a heart beat for my rats. sadly i dont have rats anymore, but if i did, they would get one. or two!
they make small ones for mice/hamsters/gerbils too.
and they make a log like that.
they rats more than likely wouldnt eat it since its made from alfalfa. rats dont like alfalfa and its rumored that they cant even digest it.

I'm don't know much......but I do know that rats can have a hard time digesting alfalfa. Usually when you give rats alfalfa they ignore it because they know it makes their tummys hurt.

Yeah, before I knew they couldn't digest it well,I bought it for them...this was years ago and they would never eat it and I was shocked,as I thought all small animals were supposed to be crazy for it...

I couldn't find anything on mice. I put it in my male mouses cage once to kind of keep the smell down. My dad accidently hit a baby bunny in the yard, so I had a whole bag of the stuff. The mouse took a couple of nibbles then didn't touch it, so it could have been the same thing. IMO, I wouldn't waste the money on buying it. I also heard it's not nearly as big as you think.

If eating hammocks doesn;'t hurt them- eating a straw hut isn't going to.
I want them to make one bog enough for Maizee- when I first saw them on the site I got excited, but then read 'dwarf rabbits' BOOO! Too small!
