Postive.I checked the pigs and have not had any maggots since.
There are alot of flies around tho and it doesn't help that I have trees around my house and my house gets very humid.

If they live in the hay, it's not maggots.
I'm not quite sure if you call all "baby" flies maggots, but these most likly were some herbivor type of "maggots".

When you get these types of bugs, you need to trough out the contaminated feed (it can be both the hay and the pellets) and keep a close eye on the not infected feed.
They only come when the feed is stored wrong. It's not your fault, the eggs have been there from before the time you bought the hay.

It's nasty, but it happens from time to time.
Also, some moths can cause problems, if they get near your feed, and lay eggs in it.
It won't harm your piggies, but yes, it is gross... >_<

There MIGHT have been something dead near the hay. If you're using hay bales (like horse hay) I would throw the whole bale out. If you found it in pet store bought hay... I would go back to the store and return it!
