Help with my guinea

I just need a little help with my guinea pig.. i have only had him about a week... and when i pick him up i get afraid hes going to turn around and bite me as he does try turn his head...

also when he is on my knee or anything when ever i stroke him he squeaks but as soon as i stop stroking him he stops squeaking.. does he not like me?

What can i do??

you need to gain his trust, they are scared little critters anyway and picking him up and forcing him isn't making him trust you any more be more patient he'll come around

squeaking isn't necessarily bad. Sometimes it's just conversation.
