I have a huge problem

I have a huge problem. I have 4 pigs in a 3 x 9 cage and I was begining to think that it was too small for them. I keep adding toys and making changes, it's just that moby is getting so fat and he is starting to take up room. I was actually thinking of giving up my room for them. Then I hear these whiny kids who can't even build a 2 x 4 cage for 4 pigs. I think I have a serious problem.

My pigs are going to grow up to be spoiled little brats, I'm a horrible mother! I know I shouldn't give them everything they want but they make me so guilty when I don't. Whats a mother to do.

I know what you mean. Now I'm going to have 3 pigs in a 2x5. When I first made it, it seemed so huge! But it just keeps shrinking! I know that really they will be fine in it, plus they come out all the time, ....but I just want them to be perfectly happy!

I wish I could put them on the floor, but my puppy would eat them! Ahh!
I have been trying to take over the ping-pong table, but my brother and dad decided they wanted to play it all of a sudden. Grr.

But your cage is HUGE! I've seen it and I love it! If a 3x9 is too small for 4 pigs, than maybe I really do need to reconsider.

What do you mean when you say 'give up your room'? If your talkin' free range, I think that would be really cool. But you have to make sure you leave enough room for yourself!!

Good Luck Momma!

I thought that's what you meant!? So were you just kidding about giving up your room?

Gee, I must be catching on slowly today....

Let's just say that I would build a huge C&C cage around my room if my mom would let me.

But she is against guinea pigs in bedrooms. And I don't think it is the same reasoning as Teresa.

*lol* I see!
Yes, my mom is against more than just allergies. *sigh* Now I can't even have a Betta in my room! Well, in truth, the agreement is that I have to keep it clean, but I can tell ya'll right now that it ain't gonna happen! *lol* Ah well...

So what are you going to do?

I'm saying that all the toys they have in there and how fat they keep getting the cage keeps looking smaller.

I KNOW it is huge that's why I have a serious problem.

Back to the whiny kid- I was begining to think that 4 pigs in my size cage is perfect. Then there is the kid who has a 2 x 2 with like six pigs in it! Sadly enough this made me reconsider my cage.

I'm fine I just can't believe myself because I get the urge to build a bigger and better cage every year.

My top secret new cage envolves steel, a customized washing machine, a heating operation, a rolling system, electricity, yards and yards of fabric, and a trash can that will be filled by itself. It's a beautiful plan, however I'll need about $10,000 to build it.

So with my goals strong, anyone want to lend me 1,0000 + dollars? :}

My cage is fine, I'm not redoing it, it just appears to be shrinking like Lucky13 said.

LoL!
Ok, I get it now. I know what you mean by huge problem. Sometimes it's harder to understand the written form.
That's very sad about the kid with 6 pigs in a 2X2, that cage must need cleaning out about every 5 minutes.

Yeah well at least he was on AIM and not telephone. If he would have called me I probably would have yelled at him but on AIM you just try to convince them to get a better cage. Some kid on CM. I can't figure out where they keep getting my name but I'm becoming popular and I've only posted once there.

Sounds good! Especially the part about the rolling system! Awesome!
I however, would want a trash can that will be emptied by itself!

Hmmm, Allyse, I know what you mean. It's a very addicting hobby.

I found in the past that my cage grows/modifies "itself", depending on how much stress is going on at work. It is a great stress-reliever!

And get this-I've decided to have an addition built on my home that would make the livingroom bigger. The part that I'm most excited about is that I'll be able to make the cage BIGGER! Imagine that...taking out a home improvement loan for a pigger!

Yep, that would be very interesting.

Bank guy: "what is your primary interest for taking out this loan?"
You: "well, My guinea pigs need a bigger cage so we are expanding the house."
