I have to say though that her resemblence makes you think about how closer relations degu's and guinea pigs are? Scientists are trying to prove degu's are more closely related to rabbits at the moment and want them moved from the rodent to the lagomorph family but with those pics it really makes you wonder

Awwwww. I wish I could see those pics. They showed up as 'user posted images' or something like that. I couldn't see the pics. But, yes, they are hard to resist though!

It's always good rescuing those tortured little cavies. We've seen a store selling cavies in atrocious conditions, but when we came back to buy, they'd all found good homes! What a warm feeling!
