I thought bonding took time...

This is the second day that my piggies Chuck and Gizmo have been home, and both days they have been in seperate cages next to each other. Today, I brought home a wading pool, put some bedding in it, and set them both in there for play time. They are now both inside of a little green hut that I put in there for shelter. They don't seem to be fighting at all. Although I know I shouldn't get my hopes up, this seems like a very good sign. I thought bonding took a long time though.

That's great! I don't want to damper things but my boys were like that before they started fighting terribly.. just keep a close eye on them but it sounds like it will work out great!!

Well, I hope they can get along like that for a few more days. One of the cages is a loaner from the vet I adopted from, and it has to go back, so they will be sharing a cage until I can get a cat-proof fence up around the pool.
