Question

kale ?

Does anyone know if the pigs can eat "flowering kale"? I know regular kale is fine... it's a favorite around here actually.

Tonight I went to fill up our veggie stash and they were out of regular kale... but they had "flowering kale". Two different colors, almost white and then the other was a deep pretty purple color! It looked really good, but I didn't get any just in case it's not okay for them.... anyone know?

I'm not sure!

I've never seen it, I haven't gotten the crew any sort of Kale for awhile, it's been kinda brown looking.

I get my stuff from a giant eagle, just a crappy one I suppose. They don't even carry dandelion greens. I have to go to the Tops up by my mom's work for that!

Do you ever feed the stalks with the Kale , or throw that part away? Just curious. I don't know what to do with it.

I don't think that I have ever seen flowering kale before?
My Gpig loves to eat both the leaf and stalk on the kale
