Your cage looks awesome, but I was just wondering, how difficult is it to clean ?? Sometime in the future i would like to have guniea pigs and I think a cage like that would be awesome!
PS Your guniea pigs are soo cute!!!

Great cage and very adorable piggies! I was wondering if the cubes on the bottom are enough to support the cage. I'm looking for ways of elevating my 2x6 cc cage. I think it's great to have storage underneath.

Thanks everyone! The cubes are strong enough to hold the cage. Its really not that heavy. As for cleaning, its not hard really, i just put newspaper under the bedding and then roll it up. Most of the bedding stays in the newspapers and then I just use a little broom and dustpan to clean the rest of it. I usually just take the support that holds the top level up out while im cleaing, It doesn't fall or anything. Its just there to make sure of that when my piggies are in there. Im actually looking for a new piggie. Im going to a couple different shelters next week and hopefully get one. I think the girls miss Ruby, my piggie that passed away recently, so hopefully I can find a good friend for them.

Honestly, its not very easy to catch them. I bribe them out with veggies most of the time. One is more social than the other, hopefully they will someday be like Ruby was and come to me when I walk up to the cage. Ruby was wonderful, she would always come up to me and squeek. I miss her so much. I got her from a petstore, I didnt buy her though, someone I knew worked there and they said she was dropped on her head and that they were either going to adopt her out or euthanize her. I took her of course! The vet said she would be okay but with a few little quirks. Unfortunatly she got sick and didnt make it. I loved her so much, I wish she was still here.

Holey cow! That cage is awesome!! Your piggies must love it! I would never be able to catch mine in something like that. I have a hard enough time in the one they're in now. I have only had them about a month though so there is lots more time for them to get used to me.
