Show your cage
I thought it would be fun to start a thread with everyone cages. Maybe some people can get some good ideas for their own piggies.
I have had many cage designs over the past couple years. Thats one of the reasons I love C&C cages so much. You can always change them around.
Here was one of my first cages. This was when I had only Daisy and Violet
The next design. Daisy, Squirrel and Violet
Another re-design, Squirrel, Daisy, Violet and Rhapsody (r.i.p)
The cage I made when I got Gizmo and Squeaky. The two groups of girls had to be in seperate cages.
The cage as of last weekend. All 5 girls in one cage.
I am going to be adding a loft to this cage. So I will post a picture when im done.

I HIGHLY recommend C&Cs, because they are big enough for guinea pigs. Pet store cages are way too small. Read Guinea Pig Cages, Your Cavy At Home for more information.

Ambie, I'd post my cage pics, but I'm redoing my pig room this weekend, so I'm going to wait for before and after pics.

Ambie, what do you use for lining? The purple/blue stuff...looks like cardboard or construction paper or an old box cut into strips and taped together...

That's coroplast, or corrugated plastic. It's very lightweight, but it's waterproof, and very durable. You can find it at most sign supply stores, and it's fairly cheap. I can get a 4'x8' sheet here for about $14.
Edit: Ambie was typing while I was typing mine! Sorry!

So I got the cage redone last night.
Here's the before:
And the after:

The cage by itself! (Looks better in person, I'll have to try and get a pic in natural light since the flash just makes it one big black blob.

And the returned piggies have been moved into the pig room, say hi to Cleo and Cookie!

And the gerbs and haybox on the other side of the room.
It's amazing, everything fit back into the room, with about a half inch to spare!

Ohhhhh, so THAT's coroplast. *hits self* Now I know. Since my rats are litter trained I'm just using regular old towels or sheets to cover their floor...the only place they have bedding that can scatter is in their litter pan, which is pretty deep. If I were to ever get guinea pigs though I'll definitely go find a sign store and get me some =]
