Suggestions for a newbie? - Paw Talk

Erin's got some great stuff about guinea pig and their care but I was wondering if anyone has any "personal" suggestions or experience that they would like to share?

I know some people who are getting their first guinea pig in a couple of weeks and I'd like to pass the info along to them. (They have checked out a couple of web sites: Cavy Madness and Cavy Spirit.) Thanks!

Yes, they are doing research and are asking questions but I thought I'd give them some other resources as well. I don't doubt that they'll take good care of Lucky though, their goldfish are the only ones that I've ever seen with a filter in their ultra-clean bowl.

LOL, my goldfish have a 40 gallon aquarium on order for christmas*grin*.

Lucky's new folks sound like good ones though! I'm sure he'll be happy!
