Question

Water Bottle Suggestions?

I'm looking for a new water bottle, I want one that doesn't drip, and is the kind with the metal ball - I tried one with a valve and he couldn't figure it out. Any suggestions? I'm currently using a 16oz Gimborn water bottle I got at Walmart.

Well, I always fill my bottles to the top, but I use cold water since it's filtered and is dispensed from the fridge door; I really haven't had a problem until recently for whatever reason. I may just buy a new one same as my current one, it could be that the bottle is just old and somewhat worn out (I've had it for 2 years), if I do that then I won't have to buy a new holder.

warm water contracts and cold expands, maybe try letting the water bottle sit until its room temp,. then tip it upside down and see if it leaks ?

I have a variety of the gimborn bottles and I love them, they are one of the few bottles out there that don't leak for me. Lixit is also a good choice.

Maybe your pig likes to play with the bottle? Try hanging it a little higher?

You also could tap the end a few times when you put it in the cage, usually stops them from dripping pretty quick too.
