Weighing pigs

I weigh mine about every 8 days, or every other cage change.

I voted weekly but its actually about every 10 days. They were all weighed yesterday along with their nail trimming.

I'm very inconsistent, probably because my scale is lousy.

I weigh mine every week. I feel it is the best way to catch any illness quickly. They are prey animals and therefore they are very good at hiding illness until, sometimes it is too late.

My Toby has lost 3 ounces since I got him. He lost just a tiny bit every time I weighed him. That was the first warning sign something was wrong, and I never would have realized he was eating less if not for his weight. I am currently weighing him everyday. He will only eat a pellet mush I make for him. I am calling a new vet to get an appointment as soon as possible.
