Yet another question... Timothy Hay cubes?

Do Guinea Pigs ever like them? More importantly, is it an okay source for them?

Still shopping around and trying to find the best deal there is. Little critters are becoming hungry hungry hippos, even when they've just had some food, if they hear anyone nearby, they squeak their little hearts out until more food is put into their cage. Cute little guys and they know it.

Hay cubes can be given as treats, but they should not replace the unlimited hay in their diet. Long strand hay has important fiber which is important to keeping their teeth ground down and helping the movement of their GI tract (preventing stasis). As those fibers are digested, they actually pull against the sides of the intestines and cause greater peristalsis reactions than the shorter chopped hay which is in the cubes.
