African Giant Pouched Rats as Pets

I would like to give my personal observations on this wonderful rat from a pet owners point of view since these rats are becoming more popular as exotic pets. I'm not an authority on this rat, but I speak from first hand knowledge as I've had the pleasure of raising two of these wonderful exotics in my home.
