Babies
I just euthed most of the litter of 11 down to the 4 I'm thinking about keeping. There's three males and one female. Three are an odd cream color and one is a pretty berkshire like the mother but with a nifty blaze up it's face. I probably will only end up keeping 1, MAYBE two, and the other couple I will also euth or sell. I'm starting to run out of room, lol. These guys I can house though. I think my next project, now that I'll be starting at my job, is to build some large rat cages. 
Anywho, here are the babies:

A boy I think I'm gonna name "Love" b/c of his blaze.

Their eyes are now open. Over protective momma won't let them out of their baby box to explore - I think in a few days I'll just be removing the box entirely, though.
I just had another litter born, too. 9 babies out of a first time mother that I accidentally bred... Thought it was a boy and turned out I was wrong. 'He' was living with my male for a week till I checked again - sure enough, female! She's a little young but has built a beautiful nest and is taking good care of her little ones. |

Yup. That new litter of younger babies above was also euthed down to 4. The remaining 4 of that litter will probably euthed soon, they only were kept on to help their mother, a first timer, gain confidence and practice with mothering - she was 'iffy' at first but has developed into a good mother. |
