This litter keeps getting weirder and weirder. Now the ones that started out looking gray are beige. Where the heck did we come up with beige? They're really precious now because their fur has come in and they are opening their eyes one at a time, so far we have two with eyes opened.

Here is the beige self and beige hooded

Here are the white ones. There are actually two more too but they look the same.

Here is the black irish and two black hoodeds.

Folks these babies have been handled since day one and most are still available for adoption. Hint, hint!

aww how cute...i'm sure someone will love to adopt some,but i've got my hands full with an unexpected litter...but they're quite cute.

WOW WOW WOW!!!!!!! Luvy, congrats on such a beautiful litter, I totally love them awww hehe lol.
I'd love to have some, but I just bought 2 new ones home at the weekend and I dont live near enough lol

Yes, I can't promise the beige ones, because so far everyone has commented on those, the first offer of a permanent home will be the taker. These are available for free adoption with a bag of food and caresheet to a good and responsible home. The reason for this is that their mommy is a rescue and daddy is unknown so I can not guarantee genetics. I can however guarantee that they have been handled since day two and have received the best care. Also, so far mommy has great temperament and is the picture of health. I do require that adopters take two or already have one in the home. The only exception to this would be if you spend a lot of time in the home and have them out of the cage A LOT. Rats are terribly social animals.

my rats are free roamers...I dont believe in cages where it can be reasonably done...how old are they?

They are about 2.5 weeks so they'll be ready to rehome in about 4 weeks. We should be able to determine sex in a week to a week and a half.

If you are still breeding when I'm ready to get more, I would definitely drive that far to get them.

Oh yeah, Virginia's really not that bad. Well keep us in mind. Throughout the rest of this year we're hoping to produce a few litters of dumbo ears, including a couple with rex fur and the possibility of some with ruby eyes. Now you know, best laid plans and all, I'm sure everything won't go as we've scheduled it, but I can guarantee at least some dumbos because all of our breeders are dumbos.
