Bathtime Fun!

lol yeah my rats hated baths too.
ya know, call me crazy but wet rat smells pleasent to me. now that i dont have rats i crave that smell sometimes!! LOL

you guys do know that it is actually bad to bathe your rodents UNLESS they get into something sticky/messy or they are too old/sick to bathe themselves... by giving them baths, you can cause illness. yikes!

Oh I know this.I never bathe my rats unless nessicary and I normally only bathe the males (they produce alot of buck grease and sometimes need baths as it stains their fur) and not often.
Raymond is also getting older and just recently I noticed that he has been soiling himself.Literally just peeing/pooping where he is lying.So he needs baths.

They do!They are sweet,friendly,loving,playful,curious,very smart and trainable...etc.They have their own personalities and of course they are cute!They love to be with their owners (most anyway) and they do form bonds with other rats and their owners.They are awesome little guys.They remind me of little dogs for the most part!
