caging ideas for a single boy mousie

Hank is huge, and I'm trying to think of something to cage him in. Being a boy mouse, I want him to have a cage with good circulation, I don't want to just put him in a tank. But I'm worried that he could squeeze through a bar cage. He's big, about five inches from nose to the base of his tail, but I know that mice can squeeze through the smallest spaces.
I was thinking of using the mesh grids, like the NIC cages, but with smaller openings, but I'm not sure how to put them together. cable ties would be chewed apart in minutes.
Any ideas for a cage that looks nice, is easy to put together, easy to clean, and preferably well ventilated?
