DIY petgrass cannot be found
I cannot find any petgrass seeds anywhere so I know I can use wild bird seeds but before I buy any I wanted to know if there is a difference in wild bird seeds and wild bird feed they both look like they have the same stuff.

Have you looked in local pet stores? I have seen the pet grass around here.
I have used grass seeds from hamster food before and they grow into grass (duh!).I dunno about bird seed, but I am sure that works too.I used hammie food,so I am only familiar with that!

I have checked petstores and everything around here no luck. I know I can use wild bird seeds so I'll stick with that alot of the grass seeds sold here do have pseticides.

I have bought petgrass online before, I know I know, my answer for everything is "get it online!"
Lol...but if you use wild bird seeds, be careful keeping it in your house because my dad kept wild bird seeds in the house and a bunch of moths hatched out if it and infested the whole house! It's gross, always moths flying everywhere - my brother catches them out of the air and eats them - gross, yeah he's alittle strange :p

Most of the stuff I see sold as "pet grass", like at Petco, etal, is just organically grown wheat grass, which shouldn't be too hard to come by as it is used by the health food industry too.

some organic seeds are hard to come by here. But hopefully that'll change soon.
