finally finished with cage - Paw Talk

i am finally done with my rat cage. i guess they are not used to the top story yet, because they will not stay up there long at all. i hope they will start to be up there and like it more. i never figured making this cage topper was going to be this hard. in my opinion fileing down the sharp ends on the chicken wire. the total cost i have in it is 13 dollars. i wish i had a scanner so i could post pictures of it. i have also made them a hammock on the second story but they are not showing any intrest in it yet.

the rats are paying alot more attention to their new story now. i really do think they like it. i put some empty soda fridge packs in there and they seem to really like that. so far no luck with them liking the hammock.
