Well just goes to show you we should all just get along. That is still kinda gross though (not that I have anything against rats) but I don't think I would want to be feeding hundreds of sewar rats.

They worship the rats in India. I can't remember why, some God of theirs. So they do feed and honor maybe is a better word. And they can not injure or hurt them in anyway or it's gobs of bad charma. Facinating really. I saw a show on it on the Discovery channel a couple of years ago.

Maybe the God of Compassion?  It would take quite a bit of it for me to feed such disease-infested critters. Although that little baby one on the left IS a cutie!!

I have seen this pic before and still have the same reaction.

I thought it was cows that they worshipped in India???  I didn't realize it was rats too. Ick!

Personally, I think rats are exceptional creatures...I don't see what's so gross about them at all, but then that's what makes us all unique  We all have a function here on earth...even rats
