Guess What?! New Rattie Babies on Monday!!! - Paw Talk

I am so excited I can barely sit still and write this! I JUST got my cage this morning...It's huge and I loveeeee it! It's all set up with a huge homemade tunnel hammock, hammock, shelf coverings, BIG igloo, old mice hide out, Basket with comfy insides, an lil purple mice ball hung in the ceiling corner(0nly one of their lil butts will be able to fit in it..haha), and then they're two water bottles, food dish, and treat hanger... Only getting started...There's tons more to come for their cage!!! Going back to petsmart today!!! I have on of my rattie girls on hold for me because I don't get paid til Sunday...She's a white/grey rex rat. She has a medium gray hood on her back and some on her face with a diamond white spot on her forehead...Adorable. I may take pics of her today also...

Yess!! I will...Monday morning they'll be here!!!

The girl I had on hold...Someone made a mistake and sold her...I went to go see her today and she was gone...But I found three others I want so I guess it's ok... I'm naming them Glinda, Elphaba, and Nesarose...The three wicked witches...I went and saw Wicked...The musical! And it was amazing so they're my inspiration...

Woohoo! That's exciting! I just ordered a new cage myself. I don't have any rats lined up in particular, but I should be getting some new boys in the next few weeks.

Hahaha, excellent names! I have a mouse right now named Glinda that I bought for my friend to go with one of her mice, Elphaba. It's too bad they sold the girl you wanted though

Yes!!! TOMMOROW!!! I'm sooo excited! I made them a "rat room" in my room. I have a half walk in closet so it'll be their lil sanctuary...Well, I will DEFINITELY post pics when I get my lil ones!

Soooo...This is it! Twelve hours til they're here....
I always build them these lil cardboard playhouses so when they're running round my room they can go in there and hide...And I hide treats in there for them too!

THEY"RE HEREEEEE!!!! I posted their pics in a new thread!! Go look everyone!!! There aren' a lot of pics of Glinda cuz she's REALLY nervous and skittish still. She's a lot younger than Alfie and isn't used to handling or anything really yet...but I'm going to be working with them both so they'll get better and learn to trust me.
