They r gorgeous!! I love rats, i wanted a couple but my dad "hates" them. I think he's scared! hehehe...

Yeah its really sad. A lot of people think rats are "gross." But if they had a few they would change their minds in a second! Honestly, I didn't think I was a big rat person either before I got mine. I knew they were intelligent and made great pets, but I never saw myself actually having some. But then I met Sundae and fell in love with her. After that I was hooked! I think I will always have a few ratties in my zoo from now on.

My dad just doesn't like their tails, which is weird. He liked Squeaky's tail. I've been trying to find manx rat breeders in my area, e-mailed four breeders across the country, but no one knows of any.

Has your dad ever felt a rat tail? Its not gross at all. Peaches and Squeak both have very cute pure pink tails. I can't imagine anyone seeing them in person and saying they are gross. Make him hold a rat at a pet store!

My mum came to the pet shop with me and the rats instantly took to her! i thought they were gorgeous, and i asked my dad to come and look. the lady sed she would put one in his hand and he would totally change but he refused to come he wont give them a chance. he was ok when i had mice... i don't understand.

He just doesn't like the way they look. He's scared of pigeons, so yea. I'll get him used to it though. My new scheme unfolds.

Great pics Steph! I really enjoyed looking at them. They cheered me up a bit. Now I want to get 2 or 3 rats to be Maudes new buddies. Plus, it might take that many to come close to Sue, she was a really good rat.

Awww, I'm glad you are feeling a bit better. Did you see the new pics I posted? Its in a thread called "Feel Free To Smack Me" lol. I got a new baby today. Yeah you should get three more. I think 4 is the perfect number!

Horses simply love running around.They enjoy flexing their muscles, arching their tails in the air, rising up powerfully on their hind legs, and then thundering off at full speed. In between the gallop strides they buck exuberantly and toss their heads joyfully. After repeating their show a couple of times, they pause for a moment to look around with widely flared nostrils, as if to ask: Has everyone seen us? Aren't we simply fantastic? We urge them to move again. They react on the spot, hooves flying with delight.
