Horrible News!!!
I just got back from the docs because I had been having trouble breathing. Well while I was there I told him when I held the rats their nails would make my skin itch and I would get these white bubble blister things. Turns out I can't have rats anymore The doc said I MIGHT be able to get away with owning two.... how can I pick just two?? and my breathing is caused by all their furr *crys harder*
My boyfriend said I should keep the Rex's because they don't shead as much furr.... I'm too sad and.... and.... this can't be happening!! I thought the bubbles where normal??

Oh I am so sorry!
That's is bad news. Ohhh. =(
It's very hard to choose a pet or two if you love tons of them. I'll have to be doing that soon with my baby Degus.
-biggigantichug-
I don't know much about being allergic since I'm only very mildly allergic to corn, no animals.
I'm sure you'll figure out something or someone from Paw-Talk will help you figure something out.
All I can really do for you is give you a virtual hug.

That really sucks. Id be horrified if I had to give my fuzzies away. *Hugs* Could you get a naked/hairless rat? They have no hair to be alergic to...

Aww I'm sorry...
I know this would probably suck kinda but what if you just wear gloves when you hold them so that they can't scratch you?

Aww, sweetie, I'm so sorry! All I can do is wish you luck in deciding how to handle this. They have allergy shots for stuff, would that not work in this situation?

I was thinking about the same, mtmaughan. I was going to suggest that you visit an allergist and get proper allergy tests and see if you can get shots for your allergies. Might work?
