Hoshi going to vets
Little Hoshi is going to the vets today.
Hoshi is a year old and recently had mites, she has since gotten over that with medication and has developed a really bad wheezy chest so i am taking her to the vets today to make sure she is okay.

 Hoshi is a girlie back from the vets, she has meds to be taken for a week so fingers crossed she'll get better.

Oops...my mistake! 
Have you found out what was wrong?? How does she like the meds? All of the rats I ever had to give meds to, HATED the syringe and I ended up having to put their dosages in baby food for them to actually take it.

She has a respiratory infection. She's just recently had meds for mites. poor girl, at this rate she'll always be on meds.

Awww...I am sorry.But I hope she feels better soon.
My last pet store rat was on meds for the rest of her life, it was so sad.

I'm begining to loose faith in pet stores, the standards of animals is slipping so much. I got Hoshi from a girl in Edinburgh who was helping out with a rat train from Engalnd to Scotland in order for me to get my two girls Ellie and Ari, she was unable to keep ratties anymore so i said i'd take Hoshi and keep her with my girls.
Last time i was in a pet shop i vowed never to get animals from there again, it was when i bought my two girls Coco and millie their sisters were black rats and had limbs missing through a genetic abnormality. I urged the pet shop to do something about the breeder as they knew who he was but couldn't tell me who he was, i then had Coco and Millie checked out at the vets to make sure they were okay... they are fine the vet said just a bit on the small side.
