Introducing Maude...

This is Maude, named after my other grandma since Sue is named after my mom's mom. Sue seemed lonely, so I got her a friend. They don't really like each other right now, so I'm takin it slow. I think it has something to do with the age difference and female rats being territorial. I put maude up next to Sues cage and Sue stuck her hand out and tried to pull Maude into her cage. I'm hopin by the time their new cage comes in the mail, they are friends.

Awww, I can't see the pics. Are you sure Sue didn't just want Maude to come in her cage? You can try putting them in a neutral environment and see how they do. Mine took to each other right away.
