Is my rat blind?

When I examine my rat's eyes they're kind of a opaqe color (he's albino) Maybe it's just the lighting?
Well how would I know if he was blind or not? His whiskers tell him where my hand is so it's kinda hard to tell. I know that albinos are nearly blind anyway and it doesn't slow 'em down much.
(I have pictures of him all over the place here 8D)

hows that wierd? he was a breeder rat all of his life and was very active right until the end. he had a great diet and actually was never sick. i got lucky with him!

anyway, hows your rat fubie? all rats have terrible eye sight so in my opinion him being blind wouldnt effect much anyway. they have great sense of smell and those wiskers guide em along

I'm going to come to the conclusion that he's not blind, as he usually finds a hiding spot, watches me go for the door, and comes rushing out. He's not allowed on the living room floor, so of course he wants to go check it out. 'Specially if I'm cookin' something 8D silly rat.
