Meet Squeak...
Yay, she has a name! I picked the name "Squeak" for my new baby rat because it just fits her. She squeaks, and she's kind of a "pip squeak" so it works. Here are some pics of her that I took today.
So tiny, yet so friendly!
Cutie pie.
Exploring...
Snack time!
Mmmmm, granola!
Hope you liked them!

BTW, she's getting sooooo much stronger already. That shows what a little TLC and good food can do! She loves to eat and cuddle with her big sisters. And she is starting to have enough energy to play and climb up the cage.
OK, I need to vent. At the pet store they only had some lab blocks thrown on the floor of the tank for them to eat. They didn't even have a dish and it was very unsanitary. It makes me so mad. I mean, I know these were "feeder rats" but they deserve to be treated just as well as the " fancy rats." The fancy rats looked exactly the same, but older! The feeder rats had really cute patterns and colors, just like the fancy rats. The only difference is the price, and how they are taken care of. Its like the owner/emlployees have a "Well they are going to die anyway" mentality. I'm sorry but that just makes me so mad. Rant over. Needed to get it out!

hey steph you know squeak is still sticking to the food theme right? As in 'Bubble and Squeak.' I'm sure that that is an english terminolongy for bacon and/or something.....like bangers and mash (sausages and mashed potato)

ok so I was wrong on the bacon thing (I thought it had something to do with bacon because I thought it was the noise of the bacon cooking that gave it that name but not so)
