Question

Mice.

Hello!
I'm new here but not new to animals!
I have three Mice...
Marble -- Female -- Broken Brindle
Pipsqueak -- Female -- Broken Black
Dusty -- Male -- Broken Brindle

Well... I'm looking to add another female to the group. Now I know all the rules to introducing mice and all...
But I'm worried about fleas. One of my dogs has fleas and I don't want to start anything with having a new mouse in quarentien, and it getting fleas and then have two more dogs get fleas and the my birds and hamsters and current mice get fleas.

I've never had this problem... how likley is it for a mouse to get fleas?

Mice won't get the fleas your dog has.

I have dealt with fleas on a number of occassions with foster dogs and NEVER EVER had the fleas attack my rats, mice or hamster.

This site has some info.
It says they can get fleas from cats and dogs, but it is not common.
I NEVER had issues ever and I take in many foster dogs.
