This was their desk home then...a self-made house...any many, many toys and additions...


This is their current house now....many changes are taking place...I am enlarging their areas..and no longer use colorful paint on their homes...trying to match my furniture with their own...


Besides my mice, I also have another setup that involves hamsters, mice, and two rats; here is Constantine- being camara shy

I bathe them about once a month, sometimes more often- depending on if they have a scent (usually they do not and so I dont go throught the drama)

I use baby shampo- no tears and skin sensitive

I was thinking of doing the same thing with my trunk, trunk mice! But then my dad freaked out when I went to the kicthen for some water, didn't take more then 5 seconds, he thinks they'll jump off and chew up his clothes `.` So I just let them out under supervision

ohh, I totally agree, this kind of housing is VERY rare people sooo make darn sure you know what you re doing before you attempt this

the mice with hamster situation, that i would not be very worried about, because the hamster is a campbell not a teddy and is the same size as the mice and is a social hammie

but as far as pairing rats with anyone other than another rat.....well that is not my a good idea, they were raised together since 7 days of age- I hand fed them and weaned them together- lot of hard work and sweat, plus the rats personality was compatible with the mouse's- also they were the only ones I paired together for a good 5months before I introduced another baby rat and eventually a hamster
