thank you so much...


thank you all for your concern and your help.....its weird cuz i saw this rat and like instantly fell in love with her..just out of curiousity..the lady i adopted her from said her mate had passed away is it true that she cant have another mate and or get along with another rat ever again?i have also found that lily like unsalted crackers..anyways thank you all for your help and concern...i just took som pics of her i will post

Most rats will accept other rats into their lives. They are social by nature and live in large groups in the wild. I think it would be a great idea to try to get another girl for her to live with. We here usually call them "friends" or "cagemates" just so as not to confuse people because we advocate same-sex groups to avoid accidental litters.

I would get her a friend.
Female of course!!! Otherwise you will have other issues.
She will accept it most likely,as rats are highly social!!


They are not solitary animals like hamsters are.
