I think her breathing is normal but its hard to get her to hold still to listen. She has been acting normal and since I posted this the discharge has gone away and none has come back. I think she will be ok. I havent cleaned her cage in awhile so that might be stressing her out but it will be done first thing tomarrow. I plan on spending more time with her as I've been quite busy lately and I'm giving her alot of fruits and vegies.

The stuff on her nose is called discharge, it may be a minor problem or a resporational illness. if I were you I would make sure there has been no changes in her cage or near her cage, make sure you are not useing pine or cheddar wood shaveings and keep her warm. Do not change her diet. It could simpily be weather change, she should be fine.

She could be just stressed for some reason then.Keep your eye on her breathing, but otherwise I am sure she will be fine.
I also noticed sometimes when a rat wakes up they have the discharge.I have had completely healthy rats wake up with a bit of porphyrin around their eyes or nose, that would be gone once they washed their faces.

It has been over 24 hours and the porphyrin was gone and it has not come back. I think she will be fine.

She really should get to see a vet. Diarrhea can be a pretty serious issue with small animals. The blood is even more concerning.

Yes.Vet time.
In the meantime, make sure she is well hydrated,as diarrhea dehydrates them.

If you pooped blood, you would go to the doctor, and fast. Take your rattie to the vet!

I hope your rat improves.Glad that nothing was too serious and hope she's fine.
Get some lab blocks...like "Nutriblock".
My rats get this and a homemade mix with grains and things.
I also give them rice,bread,veggies,fruits,canned/frozen corn,peas...etc! Also a little bit of fish or meat.Rats have diets very similar to ours.MOST pet store foods are HORRIBLE for rats.
Dog food is only good in MODERARTION.
I would not overdo it,as it contains too much protien for rats.
A milkbone is good for their teeth tho.
