Need some DIY cages!

Can anyone give me some links or something for DIY cages that won't cost to much to build but are cheaper than buying an already built cage.

Thanks.

Here are some sites I just found on google, plenty information there I'm sure.
A diversity of homemade ratty things
All the possible rat and mouse enclosures
A simple mesh-and-base type
An article about DIY cages I did not read
Yahoo questions has a DIY section
Homemade ferret cage
Ferret cage instructions
Good luck.

more advice: go to home depot or something like it, go to the bulk wood/fencing aisle and get a roll of 5.cm x .5cm caging, a BIG roll is only 10$ here, then i just staple gun it to whatever i like. for the flooring you can use stick on tiles from the dollar store, or paint it with marine boat hull paint, or melamine bathroom paint. if its' rats that are litter trained then i just put fabric (same that they sleep in) on the flooring so they know not to "go" on the nice sleepy bed stuff

Oh, you didn't specify who the cage was for... I though it was a rat cage.

In case it's for mice, you can get a clear rubbermaid (or other brand) container, and burn plenty of holes in it. I say burn, because with an electric burner, the edges are smooth, but if you cut, this will leave sharp edges, if anything, encouraging them to eat their home.

You can also burn out large openings on the sides and top which you can cover with old cage wire or hardware store mesh. I recommend this much more, the ventilation is better.

For mice you can also put together walls and a top out of mesh/wire and pop it into a rubbermaid container or litter box.

And in these summer months, I see plenty of old cages in good condition at garage sales for very cheap.
