New Need Help


Hi my name is R.J. and i found this place on yahoo serch looking up mouse info.
Ok I got 2 mice from a friend of mine that had babies he said they were about 6 weeks old when i got them and ive had them for almost 2 months now and about 5 weeks ago i noticed one of the mice(boris)was tying to hump the other(was mickey now minnie) well needless to say now we have 6 babies so my question is is there anything special that i need to do for the little guys??

first, separate that male mouse right away! they can get prego immediatly after birth. give momma a dog milk bone or some bread soaked in milk, she needs extra protien while nursing. have her in a nice quiet place and all should be well

yeah i sepperated the male as soon is i noticed him mounting her and i got 3 more 20 gallon tanks for the male and the babies when they get older to split the males from females and hopefully i have more females them males because i heard that they fight and kill each other when they are together.
Also thanks for the milkbone tip she gobbled it up in like 5 min she really likes them.
