Newbies!!!!
Sprite gave birth to 17 little ones this morning.I had a peek in the nest,just to count.Didn't wanna bother Sprite too much.She is a good mother tho and don't mind me having a peek,she just came out and wanted some attention herself!
Will keep you all updated on their progress!

Yep,17 little ones!! They are so cute.I wouldn't be able to keep them all,unless I go out and buy some more cages!So I am gonna be looking for some homes...*hint,hint Melissa!*...
The fathers are Jellyroll and Zephyr...yes,both of them.This was an accidental litter and I caught them at it...

17? Wow! I looked up the record number of babies in one litter and it was 34!  Know how many survived? 33! That's just amazing! Anyway, good luck at finding homes! |

34!Now THATS a large litter!The poor mommy rat!Must of been stressful on her!I wouldn't want 34 babies running around me,I would go insane!

I will be rehoming most of them...good,responsible homes only!I am only putting them in homes where the people have experiance with rats or who REALLY want rats and will care for them for the rest of their lives.
There are a few I think I will be keeping myself tho...
