Orphaned baby mouse problems.

Ok so I found a baby mouse, about a week old, possibly less, crawling across my living room floor; no mother to speak of. I got him && started taking care of him. I looked up all the info I could find && so far he's doing pretty good, except for using the bathroom. I know you're supposed to massage the genital region && all that, && I have, but he still hasn't went. Any suggestions? I'll be crushed if something bad happens to him :[[

massage his area with a warm wet cloth, paper towel or warm wet qtip, it's what i did and it helped. you have to simulate the momma mouse's tongue
