They havent got as much stuff as i would like and i am gonna be getting them some more hammocks and tubes and stuff for them to play with!!

I have all girls and they are constantly on the go! I am gonna have males next time round so i can see the difference but i am a bit put off by their man bits lol they freak me out dangling behind them lol! x

Haha,Tessa...one of my daughter's middle names is "Skye"...which I named her after one of my old rats! When people ask about it and I tell them,they are shocked I would name my daughter after a rat.But I say it's an honor!

Sorry if this is a stupid question -- but when you hang a hammock, do you need to have a ramp or something that leads to it so that the rat can get in? I have heard that rats can climb all over the wire cages but I wasn't sure how to go about setting up a hammock for them. Thanks! |

No they jump up to hammocks or walk along the side of the cage to get to it!! It makes them work harder not having a ladder which in turn is more exercise and fun for them lol. I will post a recent pic of their home as i have cleaned them out today and added a couple more hammocks made from trousers and a t-shirt lol xx
