I love Cincin's colors! I have never seen a mouse like that before.
I had a biter mouse. She never out grew it. She was nice to the other mice but hated being touched by humans. She would always bite. Each time biting hard. I tried to take it slow with her and get her used to humans. But it didn’t work out too well. One time I was holding her and she was being nice so I thought she was coming around, then she latched onto my hand (Between my thumb and pointer finger), biting as hard as she could. I tried getting her to let go with no luck. In the end I had to stand over the bed (even in pain and bleeding I was still concerned for her safety) and swing my hand down (in a shaking like motion) several times to get her off. She just lost her grip, took some of my skin with her, and plopped on the bed. Whenever I cleaned the cage I just scooped her up with a cup. No more contact for me. I learned my lesson.
