I like the first pic, very funny! Can't seem to catch our rats doing funny stuff, my camera work is far too slow.

Horses simply love running around. They enjoy flexing their muscles, arching their tails in the air, rising up powerfully on their hind legs, and then thundering off at full speed. In between the gallop strides they buck exuberantly and toss their heads joyfully. After repeating their show a couple of times, they pause for a moment to look around with widely flared nostrils, as if to ask: Has everyone seen us? Aren't we simply fantastic? We urge them to move again. They react on the spot, hooves flying with delight.

That first one is priceless! I love it. Here are some of mine:
The one on the left was Uriel (RIP) the other one is a mouse

"MUA!!"

"Hey, can I tell you a secret?"
Try to read a book while you have your rat out for playtime...
Here is Algernon proving that it is impossible..
Yeah, this scared the heck out of me the first time I saw it...

I'm so tired!
The new way of grooming:
Weird rat...
Ok I think those are enough...

This is the only funny one we ever caught. We never move fast enough with the camera either. This one we were actually trying to get Boris to pose nicely for a pic and he kept running up to tickle me. He was always like that! It was hilarious if he got anywhere near another rat or a person he was tickling!

Great pics! I'm laughing
The first time I found my chin smushed between the cage and his house, upside down and not moving I almost died!! It takes a while to get used to animal's crazy sleeping habits!

Rats are predators and they can hunt and kill mice, so, no I don't let them near each other. I do let my dog near them, but he's afraid of them so would sniff them and then go away. There's a person here in the forum that kept a rat and a mouse together successfully, but I didn't dared try to keep them together even though they were young.
