Pregnant mouse question

Ok my meatwad is pregnant...

My question is can I leave her with the 2 other females? I didn't plan this pregnancy so I haven't researched in awhile. They are in a 10 gallon tank.

Should I just watch and make sure the other mice aren't hogging up the babies...etc..

Thanks

If all the mice are familiar with each other and none display any hostility with each other and that is the only litter in there, I say leave them in there together. Chances are they will all try to raise the babies together. (At least that is my experience.) Although I would keep my eye on them and look for any hostile tendencies or one of the other mice stealing or canablizing the litter.

I think its ok. The last time I had a pregnant mouse, I left her in with three other females. They all helped with the babies and no one hogged the babies.

It will be okay. The other females will help the mother. When she needs a break for food or water, the others will keep the babies warm and clean and keep the nest organized.

Hah, she had her babies last night. I wasn't home, I was at my boyfriends because of car troubles. I'm going to try to stay home tonight because I have some other things to do. I haven't seen how many there are but I might real quick before I go to work. She's used to me so I don't think that'll be a problem. When I came home, pinkie was sitting on top of the water bottle and sugar was just running around the cage. I took the wheel out so I'm sure they're going crazy. I might leave it in there a few hours a night so they don't get bored. I also might get them a little bigger house because they're in a small igloo (not the smallest the next one up) and it might be a little cramped. It looked like meatwad went crazy with the nest.

And yes she was named after ATHF. She wasn't even born and I said I was naming a baby girl meatwad.

I think I counted right and there are 9 babies. I opened up the igloo and sugar ran over and sat on top of the babies

They all look really light in color but there is a really dark one. Too early to tell.

They had milk tummies though which is a good thing
