I'm not much of a mouse expert, but it really bothers me when people don't bother to type things out. This is a forum, not a chat room and such abbreviations like 4 and thnx are rude, in my opinion.

I didn't know and i'm sorry, I was in a rush. I'm upset and embarrassed, so I'm leaving this site.
Thank-you

heres a great tip.
dont breed
i mean if you thought it out i assume you already have homes for the babies?
i am not trying to sound rude its just sooo many babies die, why breed more?
if you are going to breed i dont really have much help for you. i myself in my younger days used to breed for petstore feeders (not something i am proud of now) and i didnt never pay attention to genetics, etc. i know when she was about to give birth i woud take the male out. id leave the rest of the female in there, they usually helped her out. and after the babies are 4 or 5 weeks old and eating solid foods i would sex and seperate them.
when mom is prego feed her high protein food. i would also say dont disturbe her nest. one reason why i quit breeding (not to mention now i am ashamed i used to do that horrific crap!) was because the mom would always eat her babies. i am guessing its because i would distrube the nest three or four days after they were born.
i am sure someone would be of more help. but from what i know on this forum, they will tell you what i did...
dont breed

I used to breed mice and it is work...I tell you that. You need to know your mouse's history/genetics and everything. You also must feed the mother extra protein and everything too.

However I say DO NOT BREED if you don't have homes lined up for the babies, unless you are willing to keep them all and take care of every one of them...that means extra cages to seperate males and females...also DO NOT BREED if your mouse/mice are from a pet store and you don't know the backgrounds/lines/genes and all of that.
