Hey, everyone.
We woke up this morning and noticed that our female rat, Pancake, has a bit of a limp. She's 1 year old.
She seems fine otherwise, and she's being stubborn and going up and down their cage. She's eating, drinking, giving kisses, etc.
However, when she walks (I took her out temporarily and let her walk across the floor), she is trying not to put too much weight on one of her rear legs. She still puts a little weight on it, and she can still move pretty quickly.
I read online that sprains are pretty common? Should I take her to the vet? Or wait a day or 2 to see what happens?
Thanks so much for your advice!
