i was just wondering how often you guys get your rats out a day. i have my boys out an hour a day, and they used to love it when they were younger, they would explore then, but now they just sleep in my lap and burx (sp) while i'm watching tv. Does anyone else's rats do that?

I usually take my boys out for a good hour or so. They have a little area where they can run around in, with some toys for them to play with, but they usually go and sleep in their igloo. Squirt is extremely hyper (they are both still young) and doesn't really enjoy "mommy time", but Nemo is my little cuddler and he loves bruxing in my lap.
