couldn't you put just one female that likes him in there. I think you will have to separate the little guy from the 'dominat' female. But then i don't really know about mices,

Well iwas thinking about that cause my pregnant mouse hershey really likes him ;but i'm going away on vacation and my friend is going to have my mice at her house to be taken care of and i'm not aloud to bring to cages to her house. He's so sweet and i already love him to death but i was up till midnight ripping him out of the fight with the dominat female. I don't want to get rid of him just because i'm going on vacation but i kno he'd be better off with all the other mice in the pets store but there was dead mice in the cage with him at the pet store.I really do appreciate the responds!

Im sure your friend would rather have two cages than have to separate two fighting mices. This could be very difficult for someone not familiar with your pet and/or mice. The cage can't be that big im sure she won't mind.

By the way where are you located in florida? i could maybe help you. I had hamsters before but im not really familiar with mice, i think they are very cute.

First, if you don't want 2 cages, I don't think you want a male mouse in with 3 females. Average mouse litter is 11, but can go up to 25. Then, all the males you have you'll probably have to keep in separate cages cause males fight other males... I am currently breeding mice (couple of litters) and I have 13 cages devoted to my mice only.
Then, a male mouse will kill babies of a female if they are put together when she's about to give birth. If introduced early in the pregnancy, you can trick him into thinking that the babies are his, but if you put them together when she's about to give birth, he'll kill the babies so the female will mate with him and have babies of his own.
This said, I suggest that you put the little guy in a separate cage, or, if you really can't have 2 mice cages, then try to find him a good home.

First off...are you prepared for breeding??? There will be alot of babies if you keep the male in with females all the time.I am guessing your mom didn't want you to have another mouse, since you had to sneak it...does she know about him now?

You should get a spare cage and put the male in there.I know you don't want to seperate him, but you will have tons and tons of babies and will be overwhelmed, unless you know what you are getting into.Or, you can get him neutered and then let him live with the female or females.
