Saffron
Well...I have a new addition.
I really was not looking for a new rat (especially since I had two recent losses... ) and really wasn't planning on getting a new rattie anytime soon.
Well last week,I was into Petcetera and made a big mistake of looking at the rats. There were 4,all females (two hooded and two siamese). The guy let me handle them and well this one stood out.She cuddled with me and was kissing me and was just a total sweetie. She would not stop licking and kissing me and curling into my hand.I fell in love on the spot.I didn't get her that day tho,I went home...but I couldn't stop thinking of her and even thought "Saffron" would be a cute name.So the next night,I went back in and brought her home.
Her name is Saffron. She is the sweetest thing and sooo playful.I haven't had female rats in sometime now, only males and so I forgot how different the sexes are.She loves being flipped on her back and having her tummy tickled. She goes completely nuts and gets so excited over that! And starts jumping around and licking my hands like crazy. She's too cute.
I will get her a friend soon,so she won't be lonely.I am probably gonna go back and get onw of the girls back at Petcetera since thats the ones she was already with.
Anyway the moment you been waiting for!

omg what a coincidence ... I almost bought her last week too.
I played with her for a good 30mins before i had to leave, and I put her back, been thinking about her ever since, but i figured that i have enough on my plate right now with school, and rats etc.
Nice to know that she went to a nice home =)
