Show your cage!

I'm always interested in how people set up their cages. Just to get ideas to keep my little ones entertained!

I redecorated the cage of Aislinn and Órflaith today, and I quite like it! (Just hope they do too!)

What's in it:
  • 2 wood houses
  • fooddish
  • sanddish (not sure if they'll use it, but thougt I'd give it a try )
  • coconut hut (made it myself just now)
  • water bottle
  • running wheel
  • rope
  • lots of bedding and soft toilet paper!

Here are some of my setups, these are very old pics and I change my setups constantly (plus I'm using the 30g as fishtank now...) anyway, maybe you can get some ideas here. 8)

The page is not completely finished yet...

Also, recently I took a tiny birdcage I had bought for my budgies and used for like a week till I got a bigger cage for them, and made it a mouse cage. I'm housing Monterrey Jack, one of my males, in it. It has about the floorspace of a 10g tank, plus climbing space.

Both Odie and Monterrey like it... lol

Here's my cage. Well not a cage anymore, more like a Habitrail(tm)-city lol.

There are 4 type of bedding/Litter.
2 eating quarters.
2 play area
1 sleeping quarter
All of this is shared by only 2 mouses.

All items a genuine Habitrail(tm) parts and toys. Cost of the whole thing, not including food and litter, over 200$ CAN.

Top cage with wheel there is Hay and Hamster Litter for the litter. (yes they are litter trained ). The bubble bedroom contain Gray Cotton Fibre. And the Habitrail Maze(tm) contain Aspen wood chips.

As for the 2 eating quarter, they contain both different type of food.

-The easier to reach is the one that climb all the way to the Habitrail Loft(tm) (next to the TV). This one contains either fresh veggies or the boring type of food.

-The harder one to reach contains a super mix of nuts and dried fruits and lot's of other goodies and is located next to the maze.(harder to reach, but it's worth the trip).
