Skrat's Surgery....(pics)
Today she went into surgery to get that huge tumor removed, I was soooooooooo worried, she went in the morning, and just two hours ago she just came home. I wanted to show some before/after pics..
these are her before pics, these are from about a few days ago...
as you can see her tumor is on her left shoulder ..
this was taken last night before surgery...
and here are some pics two hours ago...
i allowed her to eat her favorite food, you can tell she's my Polish rat bc she loves pierogis..

Amazing! Most small animals have a harder chance at surviving surgery either because of the anesthesia or the trauma afterward.
Her incision looks a little funny, but maybe its because of the quality of the picture. They must have used lactated ringer solution mixed with the other chemical...grrr I can't remember the name though I deal with it all the time XD.
I am glad she made a nice recovery! Give her hugs for me >w<

Aw poor girl, in the first pic with the tumor she looked so exhausted but I say she will make a full recovery!! A pierogi to keep her strength up!!

poor little girl, was it a mammory tumor? My rat Tina had a mammory tumor removed in the same place. Hope she recovers quickly.

awww....that looks painful but i bet it's less painful than that tumor. Give her hugs and a rasin for me

I know how worried you are my last hammi Boris had a cancerous tumour removed from his cheek/ear. He recovered well after his op though. I remember being so nervous and kept checking him every 5 mins! Best wishes.
