I know I haven't posted in so long,.. let's just say a LOT has happened since then (I gave birth!! my son, Ian Alastair is now 7 weeks old, too! hehe)
here are some photos of my spinies (yes I am the owner of spinymice.com.. which needs SORELY to be updated, but like I said.. major life changes tend to make other things back-seat)

Oh, your're the one. I tried posting but kept being told after registering I needed approval. I gave up after trying about five times over a few weeks. I have posted photos of my spiny's a number of times and had questions.

That's a good question. I am in NYC.
I got six spiny's from a pet stores half a year ago. Two females and one male are left, but there is also now one almost adult male and about seven (I think) youngsters. The two males I separated from the females who have done enough breeding for awile.
I cannot find more Spiny's in the area, so any breeders here I would like to know about. I love these mice.
See my Bronx Zoo thread here about the Spinys.

really? needed approval after registering? that's really odd because I have it set up so you don't even NEED to register to post! I'll look at it again..
I've honestly been unable to update in ages, since real life kicked in (my son being born and all, heh).. hopefully now that my personal computer is finally up and running I can update as well as add videos, etc, onto the site (and get the camera back up and running AGAIN!!)
we're away with family for the thanksgiving holiday (still), so it'll be a bit before we're back again.
Also, I know there's a breeder of the satin (shiny) spinies in NY somewhere, but I got mine by luck and chance.. it's a simple recessive gene, though, and I have tons of carriers, and have crossed them into my creams (another recessive). I'm hoping to get satin coated cream spinies eventually... so far no luck, heh. ALTHOUGH a couple satins shed their baby fur and have almost no red in their agouti coloration whatsoever... which is unusual not to show up... satin makes the color darker than normal so it could be possible that the greyish one up above is actually a cream.. but I highly doubt it and have just passed it off as being a poor quality agouti, but she's the sweetest girl I have
Cream came from overseas, and the man I got mine from I believe imported them from the UK.

From Spinymice.com one minute ago:

Of course if no one is there it really doesn't matter.
Look, what I need is ADVICE. The ones I have are very hard to replace, if I can at all, and I have questions. If you can't update your site and board send me a PM with your e-mail address, please.

BTW, are you in Watertown, Buffalo, or Brooklyn? I still have no idea where you are in "NY" State.
