i'm kinda lost when it comes to rats except the one i babysat for 6 months....but why doesn't urs have a tail?? But regardless she's a cute one!!

looks like something happend to it.
but either way, there are rats out there bred to not have tails. and also diffrent ear sizes and some interesting colors like blue and lilac

Well, her story is that she was given to me cause she had no tail.. she still had a scab when I got her, and she was like 2 weeks old.
Lets say it was a lucky find... I'm waiting for another lucky find to happen... another female with no tail to keep her company... so far I haven't found one... but I'm on the lookout.

Yep,there are rats bred with no tails.They are known as manx rats or simply tailess rats... They are quite cute.There are TONS of rat varieties out there nowadays!
